2017 and Beyond

2017 was an incredible year with the premiere of Kaidan Project: Walls Grow Thin an immersive experience based on Japanese ghost stories, described by the LA Times as "part haunted house, part art installation, part performance-art piece… increasingly wondrous… lovingly designed to engage a variety of senses." We held readings and workshops for two new projects, continued our education and outreach programs that reached over a dozen communities and brought our on going traveling show, Zen Shorts, to the National Puppetry Festival in Minneapolis.

Your support for 2018 will bring back the incredible Wood Boy Dog Fish to the new Garry Marshall Theatre. We will premiere of our next large scale immersive piece Señor Plummer's Final Fiesta, a patchwork of tall-tales of early Los Angeles in a memory map of wild west duals, pirates, land-grabbing, shark-riding, epic court battles, and, of course, fiestas. To round out our season we will complete a workshop of our upcoming Cowboy Elektra with music by The Dustbowl Revival's Zach Lupetin.

In addition your support will contribute to helping to nurture our Outreach and Education program which offers free programs to the community, pay staff fees and help pay lots and lots and lots and lots of artists.

THANK YOU for helping to make 2017 such a huge success and helping over 11,000 people to experience Hyper-theater.

Make your donation today and help us make it happen in 2018!
