Ricky Abilez

Ricky Abilez is thrilled to be returning to Senor Plummer’s Final Fiesta! He is continuously inspired by the passion found in Eugenio’s stories and the creativity of Rogue Artists Ensemble. He is also currently appearing in More Guns! at Second City Hollywood. Recent credits include Frederick! (MainStreet Theatre Company), In the Heights (Broadway at the Gardens), Shakespeare in Love (South Coast Repertory), and Secret in the Wings (Coeurage Theatre Company). He is a proud member of Actor's Equity Association and has his BFA in Acting from Cal State Fullerton. @rickyabilez

Kawika Aguilar

Kawika is extremely excited to be working with the Rogue Artists Ensemble. He studied theatre at CSUF and counts himself lucky that he has been able to put his skills to work not only onstage, but backstage as well. Past roles include Arthur (King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table), Lysander (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), Billy Claven (The Cripple of Inishmaan), and Jonathan Harker (Dracula). Kawika is also a writer and actor for The Collaboratory, a non-profit children’s edutainment company, performing at schools, libraries, and community centers throughout Southern California.

Richard Azurdia

RICHARD AZURDIA Is born and raised in L.A! Jacob Barnes

Jacob has been living in LA since fall of last year and is loving the sun! Originally from Utah where he worked as an actor and studied theatre at Weber State University. Jacob has been performing consistently for 11 years and considers himself incredibly lucky to do so. Past theatre credits: Usnavi, In The Heights (Good Co. Tyler Bremer

Tyler is an actor and theatre maker from Long Beach. He is a company member of the LA theatre company Four Clowns, and an associate member of Rogue Artists Ensemble and Sacred Fools. Recent Theatre Credits: Wood Boy Dog Fish at The Garry Marshall, Kaidan Project: Walls Grow Thin, and the workshop production Señor Plummer's Final Fiesta at Plummer Park, with Rogue Artists Ensemble. Denim Doves at The Broadwater with Sacred Fools. Pinocchio at South Coast Repertory, Four Clowns Presents Hamlet, and the world premiere of Lunatics and Actors at The Shakespeare Center Los Angeles, with Four Clowns. Tyler received his BA from California State University, Long Beach in Theatre Arts. He studied at The Clown School under Zach Steel. Tyler is a member of Actors' Equity Association.

Magaly Castellanos

Magaly Castellanos is an actress/writer/director/producer from Chihuahua Mexico. She has been working and training since 2006 including experience in Spain, Brazil, Argentina and USA. When Magaly moved to the United States she studied at the Michigan Actors Studio, then she moved to San Francisco and studied at the American Conservatory Theater and Shelton Studios before deciding to move to Los Angeles in 2014. Since that time she has been working in TV, film, commercials, and theater in both English and Spanish. Her play El Bulto won the people´s choice and third place of the Jury Vote in the Short and Sweet Hollywood Latino Festival 2018. She produced/co wrote and directed the play.Magaly published a children's book in Spain in 2010, worked for Exito Latino a magazine from Los Angeles and Sucesos multimedia Chihuahua as a writer. She speaks Spanish, English, and Portuguese. She has been teaching drama to children since 2014.

McCristol Harris III

McCristol is a happy native Angeleno. He is happy to be playing with Rogue Artist Ensemble. He is always happy to act, weather it is on stage or screen. If you enjoy comedy clubs, you'll be happy to see him do stand up, because he is a funny comedian. McCristol hopes you have a happy day.

Mariux Ibarra

Mariüx Ibarra is an Actor, Storyteller, Writer and Director working in theater, film and museum education. This is Mariüx third production with the Rogue Artists as he reprises the role of Eugenio Plummer. Mariüx is the Co-creator of Globo Libre, an independent production company seeking to produce entertaining films that transport audiences into unique worlds through visual and imaginative storytelling. You can also find Mariüx performing weekly in the award-winning exhibit, Noah’s Ark at the Skirball.

Amir Levi

Amir Levi (Don Juan/Horace). Cinthia Nava-Palmer

Cinthia Nava-Palmer (Understudy / Assistant Sound Design) graduated from UC Irvine with her B.A. in Drama. Recently she designed sound for Little Fish Theatre and Shakespeare by the Sea. She has directed, performed, and taught internationally and is very enthused about working with Rogues for the first time! 

Carene Rose Mekertichyan

Carene is a proud Angelena and thrilled to work with Rogue on this meaningful piece. She has returned to the states after a run of American Asylum at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Recent credits include: Circus Sans Politique (Urban Theatre Movement), the cabaret Never Let You Go, LeeLee Jackson’s Comb Your Hair (or you’ll look like a slave), and Macbeth (Northern Stage). Additional credits include: for colored girls (Lady in Red), Chicago (Matron ‘Mama’ Morton), and In the Next Room (or the vibrator play) (Elizabeth). Robert O’Hare

Robert is thrilled and honored to take part in both his first Rogue show and first immersive theatre experience. Born and raised in San Antonio, TX, Robert moved out to Los Angeles this past June after graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a BFA in Acting. Favorite past productions include: The Merry Wives of Windsor (Master Ford), Biloxi Blues (Selridge), and Oklahoma! (Jud).  In his free time Robert can be found making music, writing scripts, doing yoga, or settling in to read a good book. Sarah Kay Peters

Sarah Kay Peters is an LA based performing artist, and artivist with a BA in Theatre Acting/Directing (Colorado Mesa University) and MA in Applied Theatre Arts (University of Southern California). An ensemble member since 2014, Rogue shows include The Story of Frog Belly Rat BoneZen Shorts (including performances at the National Puppetry Festival in June 2017) Hyperbole: Bard (including a tour that went to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival’s Green Show), Candide (in partnership with Long Beach Opera), Señor Plummer’s Final Fiesta (2017 workshop production), Kaidan Project: Walls Grow Thin, and most recently part of Team Puppet in Wood Boy Dog Fish. She is very happy to be back playing in this magical world again.

Marta Portillo

Marta Portillo is an associate artist with Rogue Artists Ensemble. Last year she worked on the workshop production of Senor Plummer's Final Fiesta and is thrilled to be part of this full production! She was also the co-host for the Rogue's Winter Fete and Telethon. Recent credits include Nicky (U/S) with Coeurage Theatre Company, Ludo's Funny Burlesque at the Frida Kahlo Theatre. Sheila Korsi

Actress, Singer and Entertainer, Sheila Korsi has performed in dramatic and comedic roles in theater, film and television.  She decided to follow her artistic dreams after earning a Master’s Degree in Hispanic Studies from Florida International University, where she finished on the Dean’s list. She worked in Season One of NBC’s “Betty White’s Off Their Rockers,” where one of the characters she played, Louise, Hot Dog Vendor, was very favorably received by the public.  Her other film and TV credits are listed in the Internet Movie Database under IMDb.me/SheilaKorsi, where some of her demo reels can be seen.  
In Los Angeles she has studied privately and at The Groundlings, and in Miami at the prestigious Prometeo Theater Group. Her theatre roles have ranged from playing the Nurse in Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" - in English - to Aunt Augusta in "It Happened in Havana" at the Bilingual Foundation of The Arts. She is a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, BMI and SAG-AFTRA.

Marcos J. Ruiz (Understudy) Second time performing with Rogue Artist Ensemble. Tighe Skehan

Tighe Skehan is a born and raised Angeleno. He is extremely excited to sink his teeth into another production with Rougue! Tighe is one of the members of cast leadership at Sins O' The Flesh, which produces the weekly Rocky Horror Picture Show Shadowcast at the Nuart theater in West Los Angeles.

John Wuchte

John is excited to be playing with Rogue for the first time. Beginning his career in NYC, he performed Picture of Dorian Gray, The 3 Christs, Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Dead, Cloud 9, Balm in Gilead, and others. He was the Artistic Director of RAKKA-THAMM!!! Theater Co. for a decade adapting/directing Greek tragedies performed outside in Washington Square Park. Wrote/directed Vivian Vance is Alive and Well and Running a Chinese Take-Out. In L.A, has performed with Theatre Movement Bazaar in several pieces and is a long time member of Sacred Fools Theater Company performing in There is a Happiness That Morning Is, Valparaiso, [SIC] and Crazyface. Diana Burbano - Playwright

Diana Burbano, a Colombian  immigrant, is an Equity actor, a playwright and a teaching artist at South Coast Repertory and Breath of Fire Latina Theatre Ensemble. Diana’s plays focus on female protagonists and social issues. Written work includes Policarpa (Living Room at the Blank 2018, Oregon Shakespeare Festival Brown Swan lab 2017), Fabulous Monsters (Latinx Play Festival, San Diego Rep 2017), Caliban’s Island (2017 Headwaters New Play Festival), Enemy|Flint which premiered in April at Rio Hondo College, and Linda, (in English and in Spanish), which has been seen all over the world. www.dianaburbano.com

Chelsea Sutton - Playwright

Chelsea Sutton is a 2016 PEN America Emerging Voices Fellow. Her plays have been finalists for the O'Neill Playwrights, PlayPenn, and Seven Devils Conferences, the Ingram New Works Lab, and the Stanley Drama, Woodward/Newman Drama, and Reva Shiner Comedy awards, and she was a Humanitas PlayLA Award Winner. She was nominated for a Stage Raw Award for her play Wood Boy Dog Fish, written for Rogue Artists Ensemble. She was recently a Sewanee Writers Conference Playwriting Fellow, and a resident writer at Willapa Bay AiR. In 2017, she co-wrote with Lisa Dring the critically acclaimed, immersive Kaidan Project: Walls Grow Thin for Rogue Artists Ensemble.

Sean T. Cawelti - Director

Sean T. Cawelti graduated from the University of California Irvine with honors in Directing and studied puppetry at Tisch School of the Arts at NYU. Sean has won awards for his work as a designer, director and playwright, honored with a UNIMA Citation of Excellence and the 2015 Sherwood Award by the Center Theater Group in Los Angeles. He was selected by the City of Los Angeles’ Cultural Affairs Department to travel to Brazil for two months to study woodcarving and Candomblé. Sean is the founding Artistic Director of Rogue Artists Ensemble and has designed puppets, masks, props and video for theater, operas, music videos, museums, concerts and arena tours. Blanca Araceli - Choreographer

Blanca Araceli is an accomplished actress, choreographer, director, producer and dancer. Her most recent accomplishments it's on the two Golden Globe Awards and two Oscar 2018, Disney /Pixar movie...COCO, in which she lend her voice to EMCEE. Blanca has participated as actress in more than 50 plays in the past 30 years in LA. On TV she had worked in several TV shows: Shameless, AHS, I’m Sorry, to mentioned some. Since 1996 Blanca Araceli has been the director and choreographer of Tierra Blanca Dance Company.Her passion for children took her to established “Tierra Blanca Arts Center”in 2002. She has created several programs to bring quality of performance to local communities, such as, Semblanza, Cultural Summer Camp, Foro de Arte y Cultura, Danza Escénica, among others.

Julia Garcia Combs - Assistant Director

Julia Garcia Combs is a performing artist, director and producer working in theater, film, performance art, puppetry, and dance. Julia is an Ensemble Member with the Rogue Artists Ensemble and a full-time Puppeteer, Performer, Storyteller and Educator at the Skirball Cultural Center. Matthew G. Hill - Set Design

Matthew G. Hill is a storyteller by trade and by heart. He works as a designer, director, illustrator, and writer. He is the associate artistic director of Rogue Artists Ensemble and he teaches design at the University of La Verne. Matt has won many awards, including an Ovation Award, a StageRaw Award, and both the Kairos & Chronos Prizes in screenwriting. Recent career highlights include: co-directing the feature film Burning At Both Ends (starring Carey Elwes & Judd Hirsch), scenic and video design for The Immigrant at Sierra Madre Playhouse, and production design for the feature film No Postage Necessary. Elena Flores - Costume Design

Elena Flores is a theatre, film, and tv costume designer and proud member of CDG Local 892 and Echo Theatre Company.  This is her first time working with Rogue Artists Ensemble. Recent credits: Ripe Frenzy (Greenway Court Theatre), The Willows (Bootleg Theatre), Hummingbird (Chops Films feature)

Steve Swift - Sound Design

Steve is thrilled to be back with the Rogues for Señor Plummer’s Final Fiesta. Previous designs include Wood Boy Dog Fish, The Kaidan Project: Walls Grow Thin, and Zen Shorts. In addition to his work in theater, Steve creates sound, video, and interactive exhibits for museums, theme parks, and other permanent installations. Lauren Marina- Prop Designer

Lauren is a designer and visual artist, having graduated with a BFA The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, with a background in sculpture, photography, and video. She has worked as a photographer, lighting designer, and prop master for many theater productions, and worked extensively with the Maya theater company 'Palenque Rojo' in Chiapas, Mexico. She has learned from respected Broadway designers such as Howell Binkley, Jules Fisher and Twyla Tharp, and adapted the play 'Frida Kahlo: Viva La Vida' (Frida Kahlo: Long Live Life) by Humberto Robles for American audiences, with the roles of Artistic Director and Prop Designer. She recently moved to Los Angeles to pursue artistic opportunities in theater as well as film, and is grateful to have had the opportunity to work on such a unique and original project as this one, with both historical and cultural significance. For more information about Lauren's work visit: www.laurenmarinamusic.com

Mark Royston - Mask & Puppet Design

Mark Royston is an ensemble member of Rogue Artists Ensemble, a board member of the LA Guild of Puppetry, and a recent alumni of the UCLA School of Theater Film and Television. Mark has been performing with the Rogues since 2015, and is excited to have the opportunity to contribute as a designer. Morgan Rebane, Puppet Designer

Morgan is a designer, fabricator, and puppeteer based in LA. He’s excited to be designing for Señor Plummer’s Final Fiesta! Past shows with RAE include: Wood Boy Dog Fish, Kaidan Project, Zen Shorts, and Shakespeare(ish). Outside of the Rogues, Morgan has created puppets and masks for Netflix, Cartoon Network, Story Pirates, Kanye West’s Yeezus Tour, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Long Beach Opera, Chicago Opera Theater, South Coast Repertory, and Cornerstone Theater Company. Jonathan Reich - Set Dresser

Jonathan Reich first met Rogue Artist Ensemble as a sound technician for Wood Boy Dog Fish in 2015 and has stayed close ever since. Acting as a performer in Kaidan: The Walls Grow Thin and set dresser for Senor Plummer's Final Fiesta, Reich is enjoying his first year as an Associate Artist with the Rogues. He works primarily as a professional illustrator for film, science, and children’s stories.  

Manichanh Kham - Stage Manager

Manichanh Kham received her B.A. in Theatre Arts from San Diego State University. Her recent work includes: Stage Manager for Merrily We Roll Along (The Colony Theatre), Assist. Stage Manager for What Happens Next (La Jolla Playhouse & Cornerstone Theater Company) and part of the Stage Management team for Without Walls (WOW) Festival (La Jolla Playhouse). This is her first time working with Rogue Artists Ensemble and she is excited to be a part of this production.
