When a young couple checks into a beautiful old hotel for a weekend getaway, the resident ghosts and ghouls do their best to provide a raucous and spine-tingling welcome. Celebrated and eccentric illustrator Angus Oblong (Adult Swim's "The Oblongs") has created a living cartoon and the Rogues, a collective of multi-disciplinary artists and designers, bring it gleefully to life with a mix of live actors, puppets, and digital media in the Rogues' signature Hyper-theatrical style.
About Angus Oblong:
Angus Oblong is best known as creator of TV’s “The Oblongs,” a short-lived animated series on the WB network that has since gained a cult following on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim and through DVD release. He is the author of “Creepy Suzy and 13 Other Tragic Tales for Troubled Children” a book that deals with freakish deformities, demonic possession, and murder, among other topics. Mr. Oblong gained notoriety as an underground comic artist in San Francisco and quickly gained a wide following by selling his self described “children’s books for children over 25” through the mail. This led to a publishing deal and eventually a TV show. Sadly, with all truly brilliant and ahead of their time ideas, the Oblongs was cancelled after one season, but the twisted vision of Angus Oblong lives on.
